Summary
- No cookies, analytics, tracking pixels, fingerprinting or accounts.
- Your keys, messages, envelopes and event logs are processed only in your browser. There is no server that could receive them.
- The only third party your browser contacts is Hugging Face, and only if you choose to enable the local AI.
What stays on your device
Key pairs, the messages you type, sealed envelopes, decrypted text, the event log and anything the local AI drafts or explains are all held in your browser’s memory. They are not written to storage, and they disappear when you close or refresh the tab. They leave your device only if you copy them or download a file yourself.
What is collected
Nothing. The site has no backend, database, analytics or logging of its own, and it sets no cookies.
Hosting
The site is delivered as static files by a hosting provider. Like any web server, the provider processes standard request data, such as your IP address, browser user agent and the page requested, in order to deliver pages and protect its service. It does so under its own privacy policy. That data never includes your keys or messages, because they are never sent.
The optional local AI
If you press Enable live AI, your browser downloads the model files directly from Hugging Face (huggingface.co and its content delivery hosts). Hugging Face receives those requests, including your IP address, under its own privacy policy. The files are kept in your browser’s cache so later visits can skip the download. You can remove them at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings.
Your drafting requests, the facts sent for explanations, and the model’s answers are processed entirely on your device.
Files you export
Public keys, envelopes, event logs and result reports are created only when you ask, and are saved where you choose. Result reports never contain a secret key, and they include only the length and SHA-256 hash of your message, not its text.
